About Us: Cinema Ballroom is a vibrant and energetic dance studio that offers a variety of classes to dancers of all ages and skill levels. We are committed to creating a welcoming and fun space where our students can thrive, and we are looking for a friendly, organized, and professional receptionist to join our team.
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our students and guests. As the face of our studio, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing administrative tasks, and supporting the daily operations of the studio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet students and guests with a warm and friendly attitude.
- Answer phone calls and respond to email inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage class registrations, payments, and attendance using the studio's booking system.
- Provide information about classes, schedules, and studio policies to clients.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
- Assist instructors and staff with administrative support as needed.
- Handle scheduling changes, cancellations, and rescheduling of classes.
- Manage studio supplies and inventory (e.g., dancewear, equipment).
- Monitor the flow of students in and out of the studio during peak hours.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in using computer systems and basic office software (e.g., Apple MacOS, Google Workspace).
- Friendly, approachable, and positive demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once.
- Interest in dance or the performing arts is a plus!
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

At Cinema Ballroom, we teach all forms of partner dancing including latin (ie. cha cha, rumba), ballroom (ie. waltz, foxtrot), salsa (ie. merengue, mambo), swing (ie. lindy hop, west coast) and night club (ie. night club two step, country, hustle).
